About Us
Trims Collective Pty Ltd was born on the 1st February 2021 and was brought to life by it's owners - Gary Powell, Cathy Eldridge, Suzanne & Danny Litchfield and Katie & Jamie Grintell.
When discussing what the business should be known as, Gary was adamant that he wanted to keep the building's namesake and bring the Trim name back to life and so Trims Collective was born.
The Trims building orignates back to the 1920's when the men's side was built by Mr Lesley Trim. The ladies side was then built in 1956 by Mr Trims son, Les. Trims was renowned around the area for their department store. They also had buildings in Leeton, Wagga Wagga, Albury, Junee, Cootmundra, Goulburn &in Pitt St, Sydney.
David & Kathy Robinson purchased the business from the Trim Family and have ran the business (which they renamed Robinson's Department Store) for 25 years.
The new owners didn't want the town to lose such a great business and with the four families combined, they put their heads together and came up with a business plan to keep the store going.
Since 1st March 2021, the store has gone under a complete revamp. We have brought in new brands and expanded some of the ranges so that people within the community and wider regions, can find something that they need without travelling too far.
